IMMEDIATE OPENING in the Northern Clinical Office of High Peaks Hospice located in Saranac Lake and Mineville NY.

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, selection, coordination and supervision of volunteers working in the hospice program. The ability and willingness to do public speaking and present educational programs required. The ideal candidate must possess an understanding of human dynamics and counseling, program planning and implementation, communication skills, personnel administration and community resources. Strong computer skills required. Bachelor’s degree and 1 year volunteer experience or high school diploma with 5 years in-depth volunteer experience required. This is a full time position that includes benefits & mileage reimbursement.
