DESCRIPTION:\nGrief is a natural response to loss—and no one should have to walk that journey alone.\nThis six week session to help those navigating a loss of a parent begins:\nThursday, May 7, 2026 from 5:30-6:30pm\nLocated at the High Peaks Hospice Hudson Falls Office\n1247 Dix Ave, Hudson Falls, NY 12839\nPlease note – restrooms are located 1/2 flight up or down stairs.\nAbout the group sessions\nWhether your loss is recent or some time ago, you are welcome.\nThis six week guided and structured grief group is based on Dr. Alan Wolfelt’s book, Understanding your Grief: Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart.\nIt is designed to help participants better understand their own grief and the guiding principles behind it. This is a safe and supportive environment where you can find support, encouragement and wisdom from others with similar experiences.\nParticipants will need to register in advance for the entirety of the six week session as each session is designed to build upon the last.\nSpace is limited.
