Bereavement and Grief Services

Grief Support Groups

Our bereavement team regularly offers specialized grief support groups designed to offer a safe space for processing loss. These groups are offered at no cost and is available whether or not your loved one received in hospice services.

We currently offer:

In-Person 8 week Pathways to Peace Support Group

This eight week guided and structured grief group is based on Dr. Alan Wolfelt’s book, Understanding your Grief: Ten Essential Touchstones for Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart.

It is designed to help participants better understand their own grief and the guiding principles behind it. This is a safe and supportive environment where you can find support, encouragement and wisdom from others with similar experiences.

Participants will need to register in advance for the entirety of the six week session as each session is designed to build upon the last.

Virtual 6 week Pathways to Peace Support Group

Same as above, but a virtual six-week option.

Next Chapter: Book Club for Grief and Loss

A six week group, meeting once a week. Attendees use this healing space to have meaningful discussion regarding a selected grief-related book. Experience how written text and shared experiences can help us each as we navigate our own unique grief journey.

These programs meet on an intermittent schedule and registration is ongoing.
