Celebrated each year on 8th March, International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. In honor of this day, we celebrate the strong women who work and volunteer at High Peaks Hospice and provide specialist care services to patients and families living locally.

Director of Hospice Services, Marie Marvullo, states that HPH looks at the roles of women in the organization and how our team collaborates together each day and feels it is a privilege to be a part of this dedicated and committed team at Hospice, the majority of whom are women!

The caring environment we work in and our longstanding Hospice ethos make it such a wonderful place to work and an incredible team to be a part of.

Today and always we celebrate how uplifting the Hospice Environment actually is; and the staff and volunteers are a credit to the organization and its strong reputation for providing ‘Dignity in end of life Care’.

On International Women’s Day and every day, we celebrate each and every woman at High Peaks Hospice, our staff, volunteers, patients and supporters.”- #IWD2021
