Knights of Columbus Council #384 donates $1,200 to High Peaks Hospice
October 19, 2023 (Port Henry, NY) – The Port Henry Knights of Columbus donated $1,200 to High Peaks Hospice, funds raised at their annual turkey dinner in August. This event was chaired by Nappy Marcotte, a graduate of the hospice’s services, who has been an advocate for their mission and fundraiser for the non-profit organization for over a dozen years.
Nick George, the Executive Director of High Peaks Hospice shares, “High Peaks Hospice is blessed to have a long-term relationship with the brothers of the Knights of Columbus in Port Henry. Once again, we have been honored by their generosity. Donations like this help us to continue meeting the hospice needs of everyone in the community.”
November is National Hospice and Palliative Care Awareness month.
